Our Home Delivery Service

We aim to deliver all orders received to your final customer within 7 working days, providing that the relevant items are in stock and payment has has been received in full. A notification will be sent for out of stock items, together with any anticipated date of the item coming back into stock at our warehouse. If you wish to split the order for more than one delivery, a separate charge may be applied to each delivery.

Order Processing

When placing orders that require delivery through our Home Delivery Service please take note of the following:

You must provide us with the customers details including name, delivery address, contact details (please see below) and any specified time for delivery (please note that the earliest we can offer a delivery service is the next day (providing order and payment is received in full by 12pm the day before delivery, this excludes weekends) where no time is specified, we will process the order for the earliest available time slot. If your customer is unable to accept delivery, it may be rescheduled for another day and you will be liable for any rescheduling costs, if applicable).

If you require a product and have specified express delivery to your commercial premises, please provide the above information. We will contact you regarding your delivery tracking reference number. Please ensure that your account details are correct and up to date.

Please note that refusal of a delivery or failure to be present when delivery is made may cause the service we provide to extend beyond our promised timescale.

We require at least two contact details for the customer. This can be either a mobile telephone number, Landline telephone number (daytime/evening) and/or an email address. We will pass this information on to the relevant courier service so that they may be able to contact the customer if there are problems with the delivery.

Where deliverer are refused, the wrong item has been ordered for delivery, or there is no one available to take delivery a delivery charge will still be incurred.

All orders delivered by our Home Delivery service will have the signed POD Confirmation attached to the relevant invoices.

Further Terms & Conditions

If our delivery team or the courier company feels that damages to the product or premises or injury to themselves or others may occur through delivery, we will advise them to leave the goods in a safe and convenient place, arrange an alternative with the customer or return the item to the depot/ warehouse.

Items which are damaged by the customer and require replacement or repair will be payable by the customer together with a further delivery charge.

Any items that are refused by the customer for any reason whatsoever will be returned to you. IFC will not accept items to our warehouse. A further delivery charge will incur if items are returned and/or forwarded to you.

Cancellation of Orders

We reserve the right to cancel orders if:

  1. Payment has not been made in full to Italian Furniture Company (Leeds) Ltd.
  2. Goods were ordered incorrectly
  3. Goods are out of stock.

Home Delivery Charges

The price of deliveries are calculated automatically by the website process. An outline of pricing is as follows:

If a single man service and the total weight of the product is below 20kg – £7.50

If a single man service and the total weight of the product is above 20kg – £7.50 + £0.23p per kg above 20kg

If a two man service and the total weight of the product is below 50kg – £38

If a two man service and the total weight of the product is above 50kg – £38 +£0.38p per kg above 50kg
